What counts as a validated signal?
▼
A signal is any GCC-related announcement — a new India entity being set up, an expansion of an existing GCC, or a significant hiring initiative. Each signal goes through automated extraction, LLM enrichment, a confidence scoring pass, and manual review before it appears in the index. We only count events we can verify with a source.
How often is the data updated?
▼
The event feed is updated daily. New articles are processed through the pipeline and validated events are reflected in city scores within 24 hours. AI insights are generated weekly (Sunday batch).
Which cities are covered?
▼
We currently track GCC activity across 5 major hubs: Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, and Mumbai. Sign up for Starter (free) to unlock full deep-dives across all 5 cities. We plan to expand city coverage in 2026.
What is the CMI score?
▼
CMI stands for GCC Capability Momentum Index — our proprietary city scoring formula. It weights each validated event by event type (new GCC, expansion), headcount announced, confidence in the source, sector, strategic intent, and recency decay. Higher scores mean more active, higher-quality GCC momentum in that city. The formula is designed to reflect business significance, not just event volume.
Is the Starter tier really free?
▼
Yes. Starter access requires only a work email — no credit card, no trial period. We offer it free because we believe the depth of the data creates its own value, and the people who get the most out of it will eventually want Pro features (cross-city event intelligence, city comparison, API). That's the monetisation model.
How does the REST API work?
▼
The API is available to Pro users via an API key provisioned after account upgrade. It supports querying validated events, city rankings, sector breakdowns, monthly trend data, and AI insights. Rate limit is 60 requests/minute. Documentation is available at /api after you're onboarded.
Can I use this data in client reports or presentations?
▼
Starter users can reference and cite GCC Index data in reports with attribution. Pro users can pull data programmatically via the REST API for custom integrations and workflows. If you need white-label or custom data packaging, contact us.
